Before this week, I had never been to the David Owsley Museum of Art on Ball State's campus. However, because of my involvements and presence on the campus, I was invited to take a personal tour and witness a private object study with the director of the museum. All I can say it, what an honor!
I felt very lucky to have this experience, as our small group of students witnessed the behind-the-scenes work of the art museum. It made me appreciate the time, money and efforts that go into supporting such a place. It also made me appreciate the alumnae of this great university, who continuously and graciously give back to Ball State. I am honored to follow in their footsteps.
This experience gave me an inside look into this hidden gem on campus. I cannot wait to return to the museum! Check them out, you won't regret it!
Special thank you to the DOMA staff for their great hospitality!
