Let the countdown begin!

Well ladies and gentlemen, the countdown is on! This weekend was the official Miss Indiana Kickoff Meeting at Zionsville West Middle School.
Leading up the meeting, I was incredibly nervous: turning in all my paperwork, being surrounded by amazingly beautiful and talented women, and not really knowing what to expect.
However, as soon as I set foot in the school, I felt relaxed and welcomed. Being a first-timer in such a prestigious organization can be, at times, intimidating. But, I can honestly say, the Miss Indiana Class of 2017 took me under their wing and showed me the ropes immediately!
The meeting was incredibly productive and informative, while also making me even more excited for Miss Indiana week! I am the 8th contestant in the Mu Group, which means my preliminary schedule is as follows:
Wednesday: Swim and Evening Gown
Thursday: Talent
Friday: On-Stage Question
